A political campaign should maintain a recognizable visual identity throughout the election cycle, but that does not mean every piece should look or communicate exactly the same way.
Early materials introduce the candidate. Later materials explain positions, establish credibility, draw contrasts and create urgency. As Election Day approaches, campaign design should become increasingly direct and action-oriented.
The goal is consistency without treating every phase of the campaign as though it has the same objective.
