It is easy to think of direct mail and digital marketing as two completely separate channels. But that is not necessarily how customers experience marketing.
Someone might receive a postcard, scan a QR code, visit a website and make a purchase online. A catalog might introduce them to a product they later search for on Google. A mailer might remind them about a company they have seen on social media or encourage them to revisit an abandoned purchase.
In other words, direct mail does not have to compete with digital marketing. It can help drive people to it.
