We’ve talked before about how AI search tools are pulling traffic away from websites. Google’s AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT are answering questions directly in the search results, and a lot of businesses are watching their site visits quietly decline as a result.
It’s a real trend, and it’s easy to look at that drop in traffic and draw an obvious conclusion: My website just isn’t as important as it used to be.
We’d push back on that. Hard, actually.
